1 Day Workshop for Massage Practitioners
5 CPD points for FHT and Embody

A blend of acupressure, yoga stretches and massage techniques creates the unrivalled experience that is Thai Yoga Massage. All areas of the body are treated, from head to toe, with the aim of freeing the entire network of energy lines running throughout the body, releasing muscle tension, improving joint mobility, boosting circulation and facilitating good health.

This one day workshop will give you an ideal opportunity to gain an insight into:

• The historical roots of Thai Massage
• The theoretical foundation of Thai Massage
• The spirit of Thai Massage
• Practical Thai Massage
• The health of the patient

There will be a demonstration of the massage, followed by plenty of ‘hands-on’ practice where you will experience some of the bigger stretches. A certificate of attendance will be issued, recognised by Embody and FHT for 5 CPD points.

Introduction to Chair Massage

1 Day Workshop
5 CPD points for FHT and Embody

This is a one day introductory course, which will demonstrate various techniques for using chair massage in a corporate environment. For qualified practitioners this can substantially increase earning potential and offer useful tools for targeting specific problem areas. Participants will learn a 15 minute Oriental style massage routine to relieve tension and promote relaxation, working on:

• Upper back
• Arms
• Legs
• Neck
• Client sitting up

The day will cover client consultations and contra-indications, followed by a practical demonstration, with the majority of the day practicing the techniques and running through the complete routine.

For both workshops, you will be a current massage practitioner, qualified to at least level 3 in anatomy, physiology and massage. You will have a valid First Aid Certificate and hold appropriate insurance.

Places are limited to enable plenty of individual attention.
